A unique feature that Tesla owners benefit from is being able to play games on their tablet-like touchscreen. This can be a great way to pass some time while the car charges or if you’re waiting in the vehicle for any other reason. However, some people like to uninstall games. Continue reading for steps on how to uninstall games in your Tesla.

Accessing the Arcade

To start playing games in your Tesla, ensure your car is in Park, then tap the three dots at the bottom of the touchscreen and hit Arcade. Next, browse the list of available games and you’re all set!

The games you have in your car may vary based on where you’re located. However, here are some of the most popular ones:

• Don’t Require a Controller: The Battle of Polytopia, Mahjong, Sudoku, Sky Force Reloaded, Solitaire, Fallout, Stardew Valley, Backgammon, Beach Buggy 2, Chess, and 2048.
• Require a Controller: Cat Quest, and Cuphead.

NOTE: This list continuously changes over time, as Tesla can add or remove games at any time. For the most accurate list, take a look at the available games in your car.

Uninstalling Games

To uninstall a game, simply navigate to the arcade, click the game and tap Uninstall. It’s really that simple! However, not all games can be uninstalled. Moreover, Games can be reinstalled at any time.

Why uninstall games? The main reason would be to clear up some storage in your vehicle. For example, one owner I know uninstalled some games and freed up an extra 2 GB of storage. He personally thinks this has helped the touchscreen in his car feel slightly faster. However, this claim, and similar ones haven’t been confirmed by Tesla.
