A critical feature for most truck owners is having the ability to adjust the height of the car. Whether it’s to help people get into or out of the vehicle, or to change the feel for day-to-day driving, it’s an important part of the ownership experience. The Tesla Cybertruck allows individuals to have a Preferred Height for daily driving, and also has convenience features like Auto-Lower when exiting the car. Continue reading for steps on how to enable Auto-Lower and Auto-Raising for your Tesla Cybertruck.

Auto-Lower

This feature is designed to make it easier to get into the Cybertruck. It can be enabled by tapping Controls > Dynamics > Auto-Lower using the touchscreen in the car. Once it’s toggled on, the vehicle will automatically adjust to the Entry ride height whenever the Cybertruck shifts into Park. When driving is resumed, the suspension will automatically raise back to the preferred ride height

WARNING: If you have this feature enabled, be sure that there aren’t any obstacles underneath the car when parking. Failure to do so could result in damage to the underbody of the Cybertruck.

Auto-Raising Locations

Whenever the suspension is raised, the car will save the suspension setting based on the location at that time. Therefore, by saving a location after raising the suspension, you won’t have to manually do it each time upon your return.

NOTE: When you return to a saved location, the Cybertruck will begin raising the suspension and the touchscreen will display a message indicating that it has started. Also, if you’ve returned to a saved location but are driving faster than the suspension settings allow, the car won’t adjust until you’ve slowed down.

Also, the Cybertruck won’t adjust the suspension if you reach a saved destination and the car is already set to the same height. Lastly, the automatic raising may not occur if there’s poor connectivity, such as an underground parking garage.

IMPORTANT: If you no longer want the suspension to automatically raise at a location, tap Always raise at this location when it pops up once you’ve arrived, and then deselect it.

The Bottom Line

The steps on how to enable auto-lower and auto-raising for your Tesla Cybertruck are straightforward. For Auto-Lower, tap Controls > Dynamics > Auto-Lower using the touchscreen in the car. Auto-Raising is always enabled, and when you raise the suspension after reaching a destination, the Cybertruck will save it so that the change is made automatically upon your return. Saved locations can be removed as well.
